Our curated collection of over 3000 Books represents the soul of Ancient Bharat, collection of rare manuscripts, regional literature and rare books under one roof. From enchanting tales of Kalidas to Vedic Literature, from soulful love stories to insightful research on Ancient India, every book in our collection tells a story that connects us to our roots.
Our mission extends beyond providing access to books. Samay Yaan serves as a socio-cultural hub where art, literature, and tradition cultural events that bring communities together: thought-provoking discussions, storytelling sessions, musical performances in multiple Indian Languages, Open Mic Nights and Theatrical performances that celebrate our diverse heritage.
What makes Samay Yaan unique is our commitment to accessibility and community building. As a initiative of Sashakt Samaj, a non-profit society dedicated to Indian Culture. We ensures that our membership remains affordable for all. We believe that access to culture shouldn’t be a privilege but a right available to every culutral enthusiast. The Library spans two floors designed to create the perfect environment whether you are a student preparing for competitive examinations, a researcher diving into the depths of Ancient Bharat, a book lover seeking literary delights, or an an artist looking for inspiration, Samay Yaan Welcomes you. Our space is designed for collaboration and creativity. Artists can utilize our ready stage for performances, writers can find peaceful corners for creation, and culture enthusiasts can engage in meaningful dialogues about art and tradition. We actively encourage book donations, and appreciate financial contributions that help our mission.
Samay Yaan also organises an annual cultural event titled KathaLok, each edition centered around a distinct theme form Indian Culture. First edition was held in 2024 at Connaught Place, Delhi and Second Edition, Kalidas ka KathaLok, took place at Purana Qila, Delhi focused on Kalidas and Ancient Bharat, bringing his era to life and reimagining his works in the Present Day. Samay Yaan is where the wisdom of Ancient India meets the aspirations of modern bharat. It’s where KathaLok comes alive, where every cultural event becomes a bridge between past and present, and where serves as a guide to understanding our complex, beautiful heritage.
