Ragini Rainu

Musical presentation in 4 languages by Sushri Ragini Rainu had a full house of 100 plus people. After filling up the Anubhavshala( Ground Floor), the crowd spilled over to Shabdalya(First floor) as well and our Balcony seating got filled!

The evening opened with the gazal, Zehaal-e-miskeen by Amir Khusro where the first line is sung in Persian and the following in Brij Bhasha. The second song was about the woman who has never been to Rohi(Desert) but thinks that her life has become a Rohi – Jindari Luti Hai Yaar Sajan.

Ancient Indian Judicial System

Justice(Retd.) S.N. Dhingra, Justice (Retd.) Permod Kohli and Adv. J.Sai Deepak were our honourable speakers for the talk. The two hour event stretched to three and a half as a long interaction followed the thought presentation by each speaker. The library also unveiled India that is Bharat and India Bharat Pakistan, a sandwiched civilization by Advocate and Author, J. Sai Deepak.

Dharam and Nyaya

Panel Discussion on the Ancient Indian aspects of Dharam(not religion) and Nyaya was hosted by Samay Yaan at India Habitat Centre. Our panellists were Dr. Bibek Debroy, Dr. B.T. Kaul, Dr. A.K.Pujari, Justice(Retd.) S.N. Dhingra and Adv. Vijay Sardana. The discussion was moderated by the former law secretary Sh. P.K. Malhotra. From Mahabharat to CrPC, the discussion had a wide range and a full house audience of more than 250 people.

An open invitation for to colleges and universities saw a great turnout of new age storytellers who were given the theme of Travel. Around 30 participants presented their self-written poetry and stories to an audience of 80 plus art enthusiasts. The contest was Judged by Sh. Anil Pandey and Influencer and Author Ambika Bhardwarj. Ghumakkad, a brand of travel wear and accessories was Samay Yaan’s partner in this event.

Qissa Heer Waris Shah

Kanha Sang Holi

Traditionally Holi has been associated with Shri Radha- Krishna, Brij and Nand Gaon, Samay Yaan recreated the same ambience and spirituality on the occasion of Holi with its “Kanha Sang Holi- Kathak Utsav” where through kathak, beautiful moments of Radha Krishna playing holi were enacted. The audience and the artistes indulged in some impromptu Holi Kavitayein and Kahaniyan as well.
